Austria is a mid-sized data center market centered on Vienna, which acts as a connectivity hub between Western and Central-Eastern Europe. The market is served by a mix of international colocation operators and domestic utilities and telecom providers, with facilities that are mostly small to medium in scale. A power mix dominated by hydropower gives operators access to a largely renewable supply. No dedicated national data center incentive scheme has been identified in this tracker’s policy review.
